80 per cent of new Aqaba terminal completed

AMMAN — The Aqaba Development Company (ADC) has completed some 80 per cent of the infrastructure at the new Aqaba terminal, Khalil Faraya, ADC media director, said on Thursday.
He noted that the company seeks to finish the project by the beginning of next year, adding that the scheme is one of several envisioned terminals that aim to attract new investments and factories to help achieve economic growth for the Kingdom, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Faraya said that the new terminal will be a main contributor to long-term economic growth.
