620 tonnes of imported fruit denied entry through Jaber crossing

AMMAN — The Ministry of Agriculture on Wednesday said 620 tonnes of orange, lemon and cherry were denied entry into the Kingdom through the Jaber border crossing.
The ministry’s secretary general, Nimer Haddadin, said the shipment was in violation of Jordanian specifications.
Haddadin called on traders to comply with import requirements to ensure public interest.
