53 Jordanian evacuees from Gaza arrive home

AMMAN — The Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday that 53 Jordanians evacuated from the war-torn Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing arrived at Aqaba Port on board a vessel from Egypt's Nuweiba.
The ministry's spokesperson Sufian Qudah said that the total number of Jordanian evacuated from Gaza through Rafah crossing reached 424 out of 759 Jordanians registered on the ministry's lists.
The spokesperson also said that the ministry was following up on the condition of Jordanians in Gaza through the embassy in Amman and its teams at the Rafah crossing.
He said that the ministry's teams in Rafah is receiving and assisting Jordanians returning from war-ravaged Gaza to the Kingdom in all means possible.
