462,688 people visited Mount Nebo in 2022 — Tourism Ministry

AMMAN — A total of 462,688 tourists visited Mount Nebo last year, including 43,185 Jordanians, according to Tourism Ministry figures cited by Al Mamlaka TV on Saturday. 

In 2021, 119,603 tourists, including 37,138 Jordanians, visited Madaba's Mount Nebo. Comparing figures from 2021 and 2022, the number of visitors increased by 286.9 per cent in 2022. 

There are approximately 110 tourist establishments in Madaba, which employ 782 staff. The establishments include 20 hotels, 29 tourist restaurants, 26 craft operators, 30 shops and five tourism and travel agencies.
