400,000 families applied online for bread subsidy

AMMAN — A total of 400,000 families have applied online for a bread subsidy, National Aid Fund (NAF) Director-General Omar Mashagbeh said on Thursday.
Mashagbeh told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that the fund started receiving applications on Sunday and will continue until April 4, calling on citizens who face difficulties in applying for the subsidy to call the national call centre for government services at 06/5008080.
He said that public sector employees and retirees, children of Jordanian women married to non-Jordanians and Gazans who are registered with the Civil Status and Passport Department can apply for the subsidy through reg.takmeely.jo, and will receive the subsidy if they meet the conditions.
