4 suspected drug dealers arrested in southern Amman

AMMAN — The Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) on Thursday arrested four wanted individuals and drug dealers, one of whom is classified as “dangerous”, during a security campaign in the south of Amman .

The Public Security Directorate’s spokesperson, in a statement, said that the locations of some of the wanted persons were raided while the others were ambushed by AND personnel.

The media spokesperson said that in one of the raids, drug dealers were arrested, and four firearms, eight palm-sized sheets of hashish and narcotic pills were seized.
