4 suspected drug dealers arrested

AMMAN — Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) personnel have arrested a suspected drug dealer in possession of four guns and 6,000 drug pills, the Public Security Directorate (PSD) spokesperson said on Tuesday.

AND agents received a tip-off on the suspect and confirmed information about his intention to transfer drugs from a northern governorate to Amman, and he was arrested inside his vehicle, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

In another case, AND agents arrested three suspects while trying to smuggle 75,000 narcotic pills through hiding them in a truck, the PSD official said.
