AMMAN — The National Aid Fund (NAF) is scheduled to start distributing the third and final batch of the first phase of Takaful 2" programme, designated to support the families of daily wage workers, on Monday, NAF Director General Omar Mashagbeh said on Sunday.
The total cost of the third batch stands at JD27 million, whereas the cost of the entire first phase totals JD83 million, of which JD73 million was paid through the Himmat Watan Fund and JD10 million paid by the government, Mashagbeh noted as reported by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Jamal Sarairah, deputy head of the Himmat Watan Fund, said on Sunday that the fund would transfer JD27 million to the NAF to be paid to beneficiary families, Petra reported.
