The official said that a virtual experience of the Baptism Site would help local and foreign tourists learn more about the site, located on the eastern side of the Jordan River, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The move, made in cooperation of the site’s administration and TimeLooper, is intended to attract tourists to the ancient site, he added. The “visit Jordan from home” website, launched last May, also includes 3D images of several archaeological and tourist sites as well as museums.
