AMMAN — The 36th International Arab Youth Congress (IAYC) concluded on Tuesday in the presence of Her Majesty Queen Noor, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The IAYC took place over the course of seven days under the title "21st century skills for a culture of peace and prosperity".
Around 110 youth, between the ages of 13-17, participated in the IAYC representing 14 Arab and foreign countries. In her concluding remarks, conference director Lina Tal noted that the aim of the conference every year is to enrich cultural exchange and shed light on vital issues to be "emulated by other countries".
Queen Noor presented the conference’s organisers with honourary shields in recognition of their efforts. Olympic gold medallist Ahmad Abu Ghaush also shared his experience at the conference.
