35 students, bus driver injured in road accident

AMMAN — Thirty-five students and a bus driver were injured on Monday when their bus overturned on its way to the Hashemite University, according to the Civil Defence Department (CDD).

Zarqa CDD cadres took the injured to Zarqa Public Hospital, where their condition ranged between good and fair. Hashemite University President Kamal Bani Hani and Higher Education Minister Labib Khadra visited the students, 21 of whom were later discharged, while 14 are still being monitored.
