ZARQA — Health inspectors at the Zarqa Health Directorate, in cooperation with the Rangers, on Sunday seized 300 kilogrammes of meat of unidentified origin, according to Health Director Turki Kharabsheh.
He said the meat, which did not have any label attached, was found uncovered in a pickup truck that lacked the minimum health conditions. Kharabsheh noted that the vehicle was on its way to a restaurant on the Zarqa-Amman highway.
The meat was destroyed and the pickup was impounded, while those involved were referred to court, the director added.
