AMMAN — Jordan Food and Drug Administration’s cadres on Monday closed down a water purification plant in Zarqa Governorate, 22km northeast of Amman, due to the presence of fungus and not obtaining proper licences, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Dayfullah Husban, Zarqa health director, said that the department’s staff closed two other water purification plants due to violations of terms and health standards.
