3 people dead in car-fuel tanker collision in Irbid

AMMAN — Three people died on Thursday when a fuel tanker and a car collided and caught fire near the Jordan Science and Technology University roundabout in Irbid, according to the spokesperson of the Public Security Directorate (PSD). PSD and Civil Defence Department personnel rushed to the scene and extinguished the fire before transferring the deceased and injured to hospital, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The spokesperson said that relevant authorities started investigating the incident.
