230 scholarships available for study abroad — minister

AMMAN — Higher Education Minister Wajih Owais on Tuesday announced that the ministry has secured 230 foreign scholarships for Jordanian students, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Online applications will open on August 10 through the website www.dsamohe.gov.jo, the minister said.
The scholarships are the outcome of memoranda of understanding, cultural agreements and executive programmes signed with several Arab countries and friendly states, the minister said. They are available in majors such as medicine, dentistry, pharmacology and engineering.
