22 suspected drug dealers, traffickers arrested

AMMAN — Anti-Narcotics Department personnel handled seven instances of drug crime in Amman, Northern Badia, Ajloun, Maan and Mafraq, leading to the arrest of 22 suspected drug dealers and traffickers and the seizure of an unspecified amount of drugs and several firearms. The Public Security Directorate's spokesperson on Monday said that the suspects were referred to the State Security Court’s Public Prosecution, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
