‘208,670 smart ID cards issued since June’

AMMAN — Some 208,670 smart ID cards have been issued since June, the Civil Status and Passports Department (CSPD) said on Sunday.

The department has also issued 438,680 passports since the beginning of the year, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Citizens will be able to access the CSPD’s services on Saturdays at its branch in Jabal Amman, Petra added.
