AMMAN — A total of 8,703 teachers across the Kingdom received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on Monday, bringing the total number of teachers who received their first jab since the launch of the vaccination campaign to 20,083, according to the Education Ministry.
Najwa Qbeilat, the ministry’s secretary general for financial and Administrative affairs, said that 45 vaccination centres received the teachers across the Kingdom, noting that the number of teachers who have been vaccinated in the governorates reached 60 per cent of Monday’s target, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
