20-year-old drowns in Theeban pond

AMMAN — A 20-year-old man drowned in a pond in Madaba's Theeban District on Saturday, according to Madaba Civil Defence Department the Director Lt. Col. Abdul Karim Suheimat. Suheimat said that, due to weather conditions, Madaba CDD personnel also rescued three people who were stranded in their vehicles, pumped out water from a house and dealt with seven car accidents that resulted in five injuries.
