2 killed, 2 injured in Mafraq road accident; no injuries in Aqaba market fire

AMMAN — Two people were killed and two were injured on Monday when a vehicle overturned in Reahb area in Mafraq Governorate, according to the Civil Defence Department (CDD).
Mafraq’s CDD personnel rushed to the scene of the accident and administered first aid to the injured, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The bodies were transported to Mafraq Public Hospital and King Talal Hospital and the injured were reported to be in fair condition.
Meanwhile, A fire has erupted in several shops at a market in Aqaba causing damages to property but not resulting in any injuries, Petra, quoted an Aqaba civil defence report as saying on Monday.
Civil defence personnel prevented the blaze from spreading and were able to control the situation “in record time”, according to Petra.
