2 children drown in King Abdullah Canal

AMMAN — Two children drowned in the King Abdullah Canal, west of Irbid, on Sunday. The Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that Civil Defence divers pulled the two children from the water, who were then hospitalised at Abu Obeida Governmental Hospital.
The PSD affirmed that the canal is not designed for swimming, and encouraged the public to monitor children and not allow them to play near such areas.
