2 additional suspects arrested in connection with inciting hatred, violence at football pitches

AMMAN — Police on Monday arrested another two individuals on suspicion of publishing material with the intent to incite hatred and violence at football pitches.

The Public Security Directorate's (PSD) spokesperson said the directorate, through the Cybercrime Unit, continues monitoring all hate motivational publications to clamp down on hate speech and take legal action against the owners of such accounts, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The spokesperson also vowed zero tolerance" against any action that could threaten the community peace.
