AMMAN — Deputising for HRH Princess Basma, Senator Yassin Husban, head of the Senate's Health, Environment and Population Committee, on Tuesday attended the opening of the first international conference of the Interventional Radiology Society.

Yassin, during the ceremony, highlighted the importance of such events notably to foster the exchange of expertise. He added that the pandemic has demonstrated the need for reconsidering local and global health systems to be ready for any emergency, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
