18th Annual Industrial Trade Fair ‘JIMEX 2023’ kicks off in Amman

AMMAN — Deputising for Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh, Public Works and Housing Minister Ahmad Maher Abul  Samen inaugurated the 18th Jordan International Machinery, Energy and Electricity Exhibition (JIMEX 2023) on Tuesday.

The exhibition, organised by the Jordanian Engineers Association (JEA) in cooperation with the Golden Gate Company for Exhibitions, was instituted with the support of the Amman Chamber of Industry and the Jordanian Green Building Council. The exhibition attracted around 250 local and international exhibitors, who served as representatives for over 600 international brands, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

Ahmad Samara Zu’bi, JEA president, said that the association organises the exhibition annually, highlighting the latest developments in various fields, with the primary aim of increasing the competitiveness and knowledge of the engineering sector.

Topics the event covers include the following:  Machinery electromechanical equipment, lighting, automation and energy, renewable energy, solar power, surveillance and camera systems, industrial supplies, production lines and packaging systems, water technology, forklifts and industrial compressors and heating and cooling.

The SOLAR Near East Exhibition and Forum (SONEX) exhibition will also be held in conjunction with JIMEX 2023, to shed light on the applications of solar energy systems. The exhibition will cover solar energy applications such as PV Module solar panels, solar inverters, energy-saving systems and solar energy systems for a variety of infrastructure.
