AMMAN — The Civil Defence Department (CDD) dealt with 295 incidents that included 186 injuries around the Kingdom over the weekend, it said in statements released on Friday and Saturday.
On Saturday, one man died when his car overturned on the capital’s Mecca Street.
Five others were injured when two cars collided in Jabal Amman. The injured were rushed to Al Bashir Hospital, where they were reported in fair condition.
Another three were injured when their car overturned in Tal Al Rumman, and they were taken to Prince Hussein Public Hospital.
On Friday, one man died and four people were injured when a water tanker driver lost control over the vehicle on the road to the Dead Sea.
The injured were taken to Southern Shuneh Hospital to receive medical attention. They were reported in fair condition.
Also on Friday, three people died and one was injured when two cars collided in Khalidiyah near Mafraq Governorate, 80km northeast of Amman.
The injured were taken to King Talal Military Hospital in Mafraq.
Moreover, five people were injured in a car collision in the northern governorate of Irbid, and four others were injured in another accident in Mafraq.
