18 Jordanian companies to participate in Gulf Industrial Fair

AMMAN — Jordan Exporters Association (JEA), with support of the USAID's Business Growth Activity, is organising the participation of 18 local industrial companies from several sectors in the Gulf Industrial Fair (GIF), which is scheduled to open in Dubai on Tuesday.
The participating Jordanian companies are in the industries of Arabian desserts, dates, chocolate, chips, nuts, Dead Sea products and raw materials used in manufacturing chocolate, paper, plastic and industrial machinery, JEA announced, as reported by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
JEA head Ahmed Khudari said that the three-day GIF constitutes a "strong" opportunity for Jordanian industrial companies to promote their products and create commercial partnerships. JEA Director General Halim Abu Rahmeh said that the Jordanian pavilion in the fair has an area of 526 square metres.
