16.5mcm of water channeled into Kingdom’s dams after recent rainfall

AMMAN — The recent rainfall channelled some 16.5 million cubic metres (cm) of water into the Kingdom’s 14 major dams until Saturday morning, according to Water Minister Motasem Saidan.

The storage at the dams reached 134.4 million cm, which is 40 per cent of their total capacity of 336.4 million cubic metres, Saidan said as reported by the Jordan News Agency, Petra
