AMMAN — Last month, 1,455 tourists visited the tombs of the companions of Prophet Mohammad who died in the Mutah Battle, Osama Tarawneh, supervisor of the Southern Mazar shrines said on Wednesday.
He told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that 499 Muslim visitors came from foreign countries, 472 from Arab countries and 534 visitors were Jordanians. The shrines house the tombs of Jaffar Bin Abi Taleb, Zeid Bin Haretha and Abdullah Bin Rawaha.
