12-truck convoy dispatched to Gaza

AMMAN — The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) on Monday dispatched a 12-truck convoy laden with humanitarian assistance to Gaza.

The aid, which included medical equipment and wheelchairs, was delivered to Jordan’s field hospital in the strip, according to the hospital director, Col. Barakat Aqeil.

He said the wheelchairs will be donated to a disability care society, while the medical equipment will be presented to the Palestinian health ministry and the Red Crescent.
