AMMAN — The Jordan Times distributes on Thursday the 10th issue of Al Qibla newspaper, the mouthpiece of the Great Arab Revolt.

The newspaper dedicates its editorial, written by Chief Editor Fuad Khatib, to discuss the situation of the Ottoman state and its borrowings from Europe that increased burdens and pressures on the Arabs and villagers.

The editorial stresses that it is Arabs' duty to join the revolt to defend their honour and dignity.

The paper, which stopped printing in 1924, includes in the issue at-a-glance news of developments in the Balkans, the US, France, Germany, Italy, Cairo and Africa.

The issue also covers economic and social news stories and literary quotations.

The distribution of Al Qibla by The Jordan Times and other local dailies is part of celebrations of the centennial of the Great Arab Revolt.
