10th international RMS conference to kick off on October 20

AMMAN — Director General of the Royal Medical Services (RMS) Maj. Gen. Shawkat Tamimi on Thursday announced that the 10th international RMS conference will be held under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), between October 20 and 23.

During a meeting with several representatives of supporting companies, Tamimi said that the biennial conference supports the health education system in Jordan and the entire region since it attracts many participants and hosts experts from 50 countries.

The RMS director said the “effective” and ongoing participation of medical and non-medical institutions is a main contributor to the success of the conference. It includes an exhibition held in a 5,000-square metre area, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
