10 kilos of heroin found in manhole

AMMAN — The Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) is currently looking for suspects involved in hiding 10 kilogrammes of heroin beneath a street manhole, the Public Security Department (PSD) said Thursday.

AND teams found the hidden narcotics after receiving an anonymous tip about its location, according to the PSD, which only identified the location as “a southern governorate”.
