AMMAN — The University of Jordan (UJ) on Monday launched a conference titled “Jordan Society in Hundred Years".
The conference, which is part of the university’s celebrations of the centennial of the foundation of the Jordanian state, witnesses the participation of experts and scholars from Jordan and abroad, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The event seeks to summarise the Kingdom’s achievements during the past 100 years, UJ President Nathir Obeidat said.
A total of 100 participants are expected to talk about the development of the Jordanian society, its future aspirations and current challenges.
The event will also see presentation of research papers and non-research articles on the Jordanian society.
