AMMAN — Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Muhyiddine Touq, during a meeting with Hungarian Ambassador to Jordan Csaba Czibere on Thursday, discussed increasing the number of Hungarian students in Jordanian Universities.
The two discussed the ministry’s preparations to announce the beginning of applications for 400 scholarships for Jordanians to study in Hungary for the scholastic year of 2019-2020, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The minister said that Hungary is one of the countries to receive the most Jordanian students through the cultural exchange programme. Touq also expressed gratitude to Czibere for his country’s efforts to provide Jordanian students in Hungarian universities with a comfortable and safe environment.
