‘Gaza 62’ field hospital commences operations

AMMAN — Medical staff of the Jordanian field hospital “Gaza 62” on Monday started receiving patients in the Gaza Strip and providing them with medical services.

The force commander said that the medical, technical and administrative hospital staff have begun carrying out their humanitarian duty towards the people of the strip by receiving and efficiently treating cases, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

He stressed that all field hospital staff work around the clock to receive patients, and feel pride in their presence in the Gaza Strip in implementation of the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces-Arab Army, to provide medical services to its people.

The hospital director said that the staff have received and treated many cases since beginning their duties. Meanwhile, residents of the Gaza Strip expressed gratitude for the honourable Jordanian stances towards Palestinians brothers, according to Petra.
