Pedestrians

Amman could be the most anti-pedestrian capital in the world. Just look around. 

For example, where can one cross the street from the first to the eighth circle? 

Even near new buildings on Mecca Street (Nos. 139 to 145, for example), one cannot use a continuous sidewalk because each building has walls across the pavement making it impossible to walk in between, so pedestrians have to walk along the road.  

Amman Municipality, please consider pedestrians in your plans.
