No impartial arbiter

Media reports say that the ceasefire in Syria is on the brink of collapse while US and Russia trade recriminations.
Since day one of the Syrian civil war, the United States has illegally intervened there, making Daesh stronger due to its obsession with removing Bashar Assad and using unpredictable Islamic terrorists to achieve this objective with the philosophy that “the enemy of my enemy must be my friend”.
Predictably, the Western world (including the US) has suffered much “blowback” as a result.
The recent murder of Syrian soldiers by uninvited Western forces demonstrates that they are not capable of acting as honest and impartial arbiters of this conflict.
They have clearly chosen sides.
It is time for the US and its partners to leave Syria and let the Syrian people work out their differences on their own.
