AMMAN — This year’s Red Bull Basement is officially open for applications, inviting first-time founders and students to bring their boldest ideas to life, with a strong focus on artificial intelligence.
Designed for innovators aged 18 – 24 years old, Red Bull Basement is a global innovation program that empowers individuals and two-person teams to develop ideas with the potential to become real-world products. Participants can submit existing concepts or shape new ones with the support of AI-powered mentors.
The competition takes place across multiple phases, starting with online applications until the 5th of March, and progressing through local judging and pitching. Then, at the national finals, held at The Space by Farras Oran on 25th March in partnership with Umniah, Radio Hala and Bliss 104.3, participants develop a basic prototype and pitch their ideas to a panel of local industry leaders.
The national winners receive access to industry-leading tools and support, including an AMD AI laptop, Microsoft Azure credits, and expert mentorship to help build their Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
The journey culminates at the Red Bull Basement World Final, set to take place in Silicon Valley, where teams from around the world will gather for a three-day immersive experience. Finalists will pitch their MVPs to global judges, investors, and industry leaders, with one team crowned the global winner.
