AMMAN — The volume of trading in the Kingdom’s real estate market reached JD3.042 billion during the first half of 2026, according to the monthly report issued by the Department of Lands and Survey (DLS).
According to the report, the department's revenues increased by 5 per cent during the first half of 2026, reaching around JD129 million, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The report showed that real estate sales in the Kingdom rose by 12 per cent in June compared with the same month last year, and by 13 per cent compared with May.
The department’s revenues during June also saw a 39 per cent increase compared with the same month in 2025, totalling JD24 million.
The report indicated that apartment sales during June rose by 12 per cent compared with the corresponding month last year.
Similarly, land sales during June grew by 12 per cent compared with the same period last year.
The report also noted that the number of properties sold to companies in the Kingdom during the first half of the current year reached 4,633 properties.
