AMMAN — Minister of Investment Tareq Abu Ghazaleh participated on Tuesday in the opening of the China International Supply Chain Exhibition (CISCE) in Beijing, China, organised by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) with the wide participation of senior officials, business leaders and global economic institutions.
As a guest of honor, Abu Ghazaleh attended the exhibition as one of the most prominent global economic platforms specialised in supply chains, trade and investment, as part of the government's efforts to enhance Jordan's presence on the global investment map and expand its international economic partnerships.

The Minister held an "extensive" meeting with representatives of Chinese companies and economic institutions during the roundtable organised by the China Overseas Development Association (CODA) in cooperation with the Jordanian Embassy in Beijing, in the presence of Jordan's Ambassador to China Hussam Husseini, investors and representatives of chinese companies interested in expansion and foreign investment.
During the meetings, Abu Ghazaleh reviewed the strategic projects offered in the sectors of transport, logistics, energy, water, industry, agriculture and technology, including land and air transport and railway projects.
The meetings included discussions on opportunities for cooperation in the fields of renewable energy, supply chains, smart logistics, and advanced industries, according to the ministry statement.
