AMMAN — A board member of Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) and First Vice President of the Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC) Nabil Khatib noted on Saturday bilateral trade grew in 2025, with Jordanian exports to Germany rising by 92.4 per cent to JD59 million, against JD718 million in imports.
A delegation from the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Commerce and Industry participated in the "29th Arab-German Economic Forum in Berlin", held under the theme "Beyond Transformation: Intelligence, Innovation and Impact."
Khatib said that the visit aimed to expand economic, trade and investment ties with Germany, according to a JCC statement.
The delegation, which included board members Khattab Banna, Hammam Habanakeh, Bahjat Hamdan and Falah Sagheer, met with Arab and German business leaders to highlight opportunities under Jordan's Investment Environment Law,
The Jordan Chamber, which holds the vice-presidency of the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, also took part in its executive and general assembly meetings to discuss future bilateral cooperation.
He emphasised strong potential for growth in garments, pharmaceuticals and food industry.
The three-day forum drew over 300 economic leaders, covering topics such as artificial intelligence, logistics, green energy and digital transformation, according to the chamber statement.
