Run Jordan is proud to announce to launch the first race geared towards women in Jordan, under the slogan “Run For You”. The 2019 Samsung women’s race, to be attended by HRH Princess Dana Firas, will kick off on Friday, July 12th 2019 at the King Hussein Park.

Run Jordan has created this initiative to encourage women of all ages and from different backgrounds and fitness levels to exercise and experience first-hand the health benefits of running, as well as to promote a healthy lifestyle. The race includes two categories: 2.5 km and 5 km.

The slogan “Run for You” has been coined to highlight our aim at enabling women to reach their fullest potential and to encourage women from all walks of life to adopt a healthy lifestyle. This race also sheds light on the important role that females play in our society, and celebrates their achievements,” commented Run Jordan’s general manager Lina El-Kurd.
