Ethmar for Islamic Microfinance has signed a partnership agreement with Luminus Technical University College (LTUC). The agreement aims at empowering low-income students and children of small entrepreneurs, according to Ziad Al Refai, executive director of Ethmar.

Through the new finance product, students will be able to get the benefit of education at cash price, while paying in installments for long periods that last until after completion of study and joining the labour market, thus relieving the burden on parents under the difficult economic conditions faced by Jordanians, he explained.

LTUC provides a diploma and a professional bachelor degree to young people within new professional disciplines that work to meet the needs of the labour market.

“With this partnership, young people will be able to enroll in an exclusive and required Bachelor and diploma programmes in the labour market, which will help them get a job during their studies and even after graduation,” Dean of Luminus Technical University College Ayman Maqableh noted.
