AMMAN — 2080 Ventures is proud to announce its first investment in Jordan, from its accelerator programme, backing Bridge (jo-bridge.com), a healthcare technology company building digital infrastructure for the pharmaceutical ecosystem across Jordan and the broader MENA region.
2080 Ventures played a catalysing role in structuring the round, negotiating its key terms, and contributing capital, joining as one of the anchor investors alongside a strong group of MENA and US-based investors.
The round remains open, with room for additional investors to participate before close, according to a 2080 ventures statement.
For 2080 Ventures, this is a meaningful strategic milestone as we deepen our presence across the Middle East and continue backing high-growth technology companies in emerging markets.
As part of its ongoing Accelerator investment activity, 2080 Ventures is also exploring a new opportunity, with updates to follow.
The Jordan x 2080 Accelerator supports Jordan's most promising entrepreneurs through world-class training, global mentorship, and direct investor access.
Delivered in close collaboration with Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship (MoDEE) under the Youth, Technology and Jobs (YTJ) project, the programme is designed to drive innovation, job creation, and economic growth, helping Jordanian founders scale their businesses globally.
The inaugural cohort brought together 15 high-potential Jordanian startups across key sectors; fintech and digital finance, healthcare and wellbeing, agritech and sustainability, fashion, culture and lifestyle and e-commerce and digital platforms.
During the programme, two startups entered active investment rounds during the program, four startups successfully raised investment or grants locally and regionally and several startups launched operations in new international markets.
2080Ventures is a US-based venture capital firm and global ecosystem builder investing in innovation globally and helping governments and technology ecosystem enablers access cutting-edge knowledge, experience and networks.
