AMMAN — Kurah District’s health inspectors on Wednesday closed two restaurants and a bakery for their failure to meet public health standards, according to an official.
Hosni Qudah, head of the district’s public health committee, said the closures followed repeated warnings to the three establishments.
The inspectors also destroyed meat, sweets and canned food deemed unfit for human consumption during the inspection tour, Qudah said.
