TAFILEH — Two people were severely injured after the bed of a tipper truck fell on them while they were repairing the vehicle, Tafileh Civil Defence Department (CDD) Director Col. Nayef Nawaiseh said Sunday.
Nawaiseh said the owner of the truck and an employee had used an iron rod to raise the vehicle’s bed and were crushed by the bed when the rod slipped.
CDD personnel took the men to Prince Zeid Hospital where they were reported to be in critical condition.
