Trade unions mark Labour Day

AMMAN — The General Federation of Jordanian Trade Unions on Friday organised a march from the Professional Associations Complex in Shmeisani to the 4th Circle on the occasion of Labour Day.
Participants called on the government to provide job opportunities and mitigate unemployment by launching development projects across Jordan.
They also stressed the need to increase the minimum wage and promote local industries.
