AMMAN — The Ministry of Industry and Trade has prepared a comprehensive plan to monitor local markets before Ramadan to ensure the availability of food items at reasonable prices.
The plan, announced on Thursday, also includes holding a series of meetings between Minister of Industry and Trade Shabib Ammari and representatives of trade and industry sectors after mid-June.
The ministry’s teams will carry out intensive campaigns in markets during the fasting month to avoid any potential imbalances in the prices of basic items.
