AMMAN/AJLOUN — The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) on Sunday started distributing supplies to Syrian families in all governorates in cooperation with Al Kitab and Sunna Society.
JHCO Secretary General Ayman Mifleh said the supplies, which include food parcels, fans, refrigerators and water coolers, are to reach 6,000 Syrian families.
Also on Sunday, the Jordan Red Crescent branch in Ajloun distributed 132 food parcels to Syrian refugees in the governorate, 70km northwest of the capital.
The head of the branch, Nabiha Samardali, said the assistance was distributed with the support of the UAE Red Crescent.
She noted that the branch had also distributed medical aid to Syrian families in the governorate, provided by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
