AMMAN — Saudi Arabia’s embassy in Amman on Wednesday confirmed that “Saudi citizens in Jordan enjoy safety, security and good hospitality in this hospitable country.”
The embassy pledged to pursue those who reported false and baseless information detailing warnings alleged to have been given to Saudi citizens in Jordan in the wake of incidents they claimed had occurred.
Mohammad Bin Ayed Al Belwi, the media officer at the embassy, said the embassy retains its legal right to pursue those who started these rumours, underlining their adverse effects on public interests.
Some social media websites carried fallacious information regarding such warnings, which the embassy completely dismissed.
